How to Start
FIRST STEP: COME TRY OUT A FREE WORKOUT!
You have a couple options for trying out your FREE session. Come and check out our free Saturday workouts at 8am, which are open to the community. Or come to a scheduled class during the week to see what CrossFit Hendersonville is all about. Please contact us by phone or email to schedule your FREE class if you choose to come during the week. This way we can adjust the workout for your specific needs. If you are coming on a Saturday, then just come on in! No appointment neccesary.
SECOND STEP: SIGN UP FOR FOUNDATION CLASSES
Every CrossFit Hendersonville member must complete 4 Intro sessions. During these sessions, coaches will cover the basic movements performed during workouts, such as squat, front squat, overhead squat, press, push press, push jerk, deadlift, sumo deadlift high pull, cleans, snatches, pull-up, push-up, sit-up, etc. The Intro classes are foundational to your workout program. These first 4 classes will introduce you to the movements, but it is also a time where we talk about your history and your goals. During this time we will complete a few workouts that demonstrate the intensity of the class. After completing the 4 sessions, you are free to join any class that fits your schedule.
Times and costs for Foundation sessions are:
TUESDAY/THURSDAY AT 6:00PM
$150.00 for 4 SESSIONS

Foundation sessions begin the first and third Tuesday of every month. You must contact us to sign up for a spot in class. Spaces are limited to a certain # of individuals to assure the amount of coaching you receive.

Some of you might be thinking… “WELL, I KNOW HOW TO WORKOUT! WHY CAN’T I JUST SKIP THE FOUNDATIONS SESSIONS AND START WITH THE GROUP CLASSES?”
With Crossfit, technique is the priority. Lose your technique/form and your performance will start to suffer. My goal is for you to learn how to properly move your body, not only in the gym, but in life. A common statement around our gym is, “Teach your body how to move, rather than teaching your body how to move a machine.” We train for real life activity. Proper form with the movements are the foundations to obtaining elite fitness. I want you to think during your workout. Yes, this might sound crazy. I have been part of a gym where trainers just hold your hand and walk you around from machine to machine. That is not what we do! Focus and discipline in your movements will help you achieve your goals, while avoiding injury. Once you can execute the movements with proper form, then the intensity of the workout can increase. You will soon learn after joining CrossCore Fitness that intensity is a good thing!
THIRD STEP: JOIN A CLASS!

All classes are open to every fitness level. Whether you are working out for the first time or have been in the gym for years, it does not matter. The workouts are scalable, therefore everyone can participate at the same time. We have busy moms to athletes to business executives of all ages in the same classes. It is our intention that everyone is looking for some type of life changing fitness. The program remains the same, but the intensity is scaled to the individual’s needs.
Please arrive to class 5-10 minutes before class time. A thorough warm-up is required before the daily workout begins. Begin warming-up as soon as you get to class and that way everyone will be ready to start the workout at the proper time. If a new skill is being taught, then we will warm-up and review that skill before the workout begins. After the workout, about 10 minutes of recovery with stretching and rolling is required. A typical session will last about 45 minutes including warm-up, workout, and cool-down time.
DO YOU OFFER PRIVATE (1-on-1) COACHING?
Yes, we do. We provide private coaching in a variety of capacities. If you’re looking for more personal attention, are wanting more intensive coaching in a specific sport discipline (i.e., golf, multisport, etc.), have an issue that warrants more personal attention (post-rehab strengthening and conditioning, pregnancy) or simply feel more comfortable in a one-on-one setting, please e-mail us for details. Private coaching rates depend on the invididual’s needs and time availability.
